Big Brother UK To Launch Early

Channel 4 are planning to launch Big Brother 6 early this year in an attempt to steal a lead over ITV which has reality shows including Soccer Aid, Celebrity Love Island and Celebrity X Factor lined up. Furthermore, the new series will last for thirteen weeks and is expected to start with sixteen contestants.

Eva Longoria's Wish For The Future

Eva Longoria one of the stars of desperate housewives hopes that the show does not outstay it's welcome so that she will have the opportunity to do movies and have a family. Judging by the quality of the second series she will have plenty of time for a few dozen made for TV movies before she squeezes out some puppies.

Former Home and Away star Melissa George is to join Celebrity Love Island (or Celebrity Fuck Hut as I like to call it) this summer. Already confirmed are Emma Noble, Sophie Anderton and Poojah Shah who was Kareena Ferreira in Eastenders. Can't wait.

Desperate Housewives To Be Shown Online

Walt Disney Co. plans to make TV programmes such as "Desperate Houswives" and "Lost" available for free over the Internet in an attempt to bring in new advertising revenues, the Wall Street Journal said on Monday. Episodes of the ABC shows will contain commercial breaks that viewers will not be able to skip, which Disney hopes will turn the delivery of programmes over the Web into a profit-generating business.

A NEW ICE AGE?

Surely as a grown up it's not cool to openly admit you're a fan of kids films but Ice Age 2 is out today. It's set to be another roller coaster ride and fans of the last Ice Age should have a ball. With an average rating of 7.1/10 on IMDB it's definitely worth a watch this weekend.

Oz Loves The Darkness

Whilst The Darkness may be about as popular as a fart in a lift in the UK, their hard rocking ways are more appreciated in Australia. The country that gave us AC/DC know a thing or two about how to rock and they obviously recognise Justin Hawkins as one of their own. No wonder he said "I'm going to come and live here ... if you don't mind".

Museum of Bad Album Covers.

One of the things I miss about buying albums is the covers, CD covers just don't look as good. And there is nothing I like more than bad album covers, particularly by heavy metal bands. The Museum of Bad Album Covers has gathered together a selection of the most badly designed, embarrassing, offensive covers ever released. Watch out for The Scorpions who have some spectacularly tasteless covers.
